The 80's style is back in a big way! Leather jackets, acid washed jeans,all styles of leggings, high boots,bright colored lipstick, rock star ankle studded boots, thigh high boots, colorful tights, and all believe it or not, all of these hot items can be affordable and wearable.
One of my favorite fall 2009 trends are leggings! There are many style's of leggings and some designers like Lindsay Lohan are making the classiest one's around! Her brand 6216 Leggings titled after Lindsay's idol, Marilyn Monroe's birthday, are sold in high end boutique's and shops. Unfortunately, those of us on a serious budget cannot afford to get these fabulous high end finds. Here I offer a few of some awsome leggings I've tested myself and love.

These sleek leggings look fabulous with an off the shoulder tunic blouse, and ankle boots, or for a more conservative look, a long dark colored short dress, with ankle or thigh high boots and a black button up jacket or a vintage leather jacket. Max Azria leggings also come in jean zip ups $10, and black leggings with strip side holes for a more rock and roll look, also $10. Ankle Boots are the next big thing! They look great on all ages of fashion consious woman of all ages. As long as it suits who you are, you can wear just about anything you choose. Ankle boots at a great price can be tricky to find, but I have found some great buys. Payless Shoe Source has always been a good friend to me, and I am proud to say that they also have great shoe sales, styles and quality footware all year long. This fall a very victorian type of boot is on many of the fall runways, and the prices are unbeatable. A great pair of jeans goes a long way, and doesnt have to be high end, couture runway designer label to look great, fit great and last a long time! Everywhere I have bought jeans, has either been from a discount store, a mall walk in store, or a major sales rack from a high end store. I rarely pay full price for anything. Isn't that the fun of shopping? Wet seal offers some awesome skinny jeans. The brand is called Fashionista skinny jeans, and I love the way the bottom hem is long and I can either tuck it into my ballerina shoes, or by boots for a better fit, or fold them up with a pair of high heals and button up white dress shirt. If you're also looking for a cheaper way to get stylish this fall/winter, have a Trade Party. Get all your girlfriends together, have everyone bring some clothing they would like to trade, have snacks, drinks and all your favorite happy music playing and go shopping. Swap what you like and donate the rest! There are so many ways to get the items you want without sacrificing a whole paycheck on it. There is no sense in that! The only time I would truly recommend buying a piece of clothing to go with your wordrobe is if you've thought about it for 48 hours and it's an absolute one of a kind then I'd slurge away, but for anything else, simply be frugal.There are vintage and second hand stores in almost everytown across the globe and you're sure to find fantastic retro yet contemporary items!
